Allison Bloodworth

Allison is a second year master's student at the School of Information Management and Systems at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to coming to SIMS, Allison worked as a Redemption Administrator in the Operations group at Netcentives, an on-line incentive marketing company in San Francisco. At Netcentives she was in charge of the technical integration of rewards item suppliers into the company's order processing systems. She also worked for many years in the telecommunications industry and joined a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in Wisconsin formed shortly after the 1996 Telecommunications Act opened up competition for local phone service. There she was responsible for developing and implementing order processes for the new company in two different departments.

Nadine Fiebrich

Nadine is currently a second year Master's student at the School of Information Management and Systems at U.C. Berkeley. Prior to coming to SIMS, Nadine worked for several software start-ups on database design and content organization. Last summer, she interned at Expedia.com as a Program Manager where she designed two new cross-marketing e-commerce features for the Expedia.com store team. At SIMS, her interests include interaction design, needs and usability assessment and information architecture. During her free time, Nadine enjoys hiking in the hills with her dog.

Myra Liu

Myra Liu received her BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley and will receive her Master's in Information Management and Systems from UC Berkeley in 2004. Prior to her graduate degree, she had six years of architecture experience in which she designed and managed the construction of many office buildings and biotech headquarters. She decided to pursue a career in the technology industry and have since worked at Wego Systems, a web portal startup, as a designer/developer and at Autodesk as a product design/usability intern. Her professional interests include user interface design, information architecture, and interaction design.

Zhanna Shamis

Zhanna is a San Francisco native and a second year master's student in the School of Information Management and Systems at UC Berkeley. Prior to SIMS, Zhanna worked as a web project manager for a web consulting company and for KCBS All News Radio, where she helped launch KCBS.com. This past summer Zhanna held an internship at Oracle Corporation as a user interface designer where she designed and prototyped complex and dynamic interfaces for business intelligence applications. Her primary interests at SIMS include information modeling, web programming, and user interface design.
