Clinic Director Deirdre Mulligan served on the Committee on Authentication Technologies and Their Privacy Implications for the National Research Council, which published the report “IDs - Not That Easy: Questions About Nationwide Identity Systems.” The report discusses whether there is a need for nationwide identity systems in the post-9/11 world. It examines procedural and technological issues that arise with the proposal of such a system.
