Clinic intern Nicole Ozer contributed to a memo which employed a human rights model as a tool for policy development. The memo also provided practical advice on importing and distributing affordable ARVs in compliance with international intellectual property agreements such as the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property (TRIPs) to advocate that the Sri Lankan government provide treatment to HIV infected individuals.
