Test Measures
As we observed our participants performing the tasks we looked for the following:
Task 1: the ease of the login process, lack of discomfort with the home page, and how quickly they found the add syllabus button
Task 2: the ease with which they were able to determine where the information provided in the scenario should be entered, moments of anxiety or boredom, confusion about topic groupings
Task 3: reactions to the confirmation page, how quickly they were able to navigate through the schedule page, the ease with which they found the edit topic links
Task 4: distinguish between how to add a teaching team member or a guest as a lecturer, and how to change class titles
Task 5: ease with which they were able to understand the different kinds of readings and enter the reading information
Task 6: if they understood how to move classes and how long it took them to figure it out, anxiety before seeing the move-option page, if they understood how to add resources, how easily they understood how to move readings
Task 7: how quickly they found and used the Save Draft button
