HLT-NAACL 2003 combines the HLT and
NAACL (North American Chapter of the Association for
Computational Linguistics) conference series. As an
experiment in reducing "conference overload", the
organizers of HLT and the NAACL Executive agreed to
combined conference in 2003. Thus the conference provides
a unified forum for researchers across a spectrum
of disciplines to present recent, high-quality, cutting-edge
work, to exchange ideas, and to explore emerging new
research directions.
