Data Science Salaries

Do you know your worth?

Salary compensation is very important consideration for employment. Understanding the market rate and how it fluctuates is key to ensuring you, the data scientist, are being compensated appropriately. This is often difficult to do since salary is so dependent on factors like experience & education level, geographic location, size of the company, etc. The main objective of our tool is to make that insight into market rate in recent years (2021-2023) relatively easy and, as much as possible, personalized to your background. Data filters of interest include: country, year, experience level, company size, remote/hybrid/on-site, etc.

An Overview of the Available Data

The treemap below displays all available salary data by country. The area of each square corresponds with the number of salary data points for each country and the color of each square corresponds to the median salary. As you select each square, the line graph below will update to show a further break down of how the median and average salaries for that country fluctuate by year from 2021-2023.
