Highest Incidence Cancer Types
This visualization shows the most frequent new cancers appearing for both men and female. The rate represent the total number of people per a 100,000 population size. Use the filters on the rightside to narrow cancer types for certain parameters.
Age and Cancer Types - Incidence Rates
From 1999 to 2019, Prostate, Female Breast, Lung and Bronchus, and Colon and Rectum cancers consistently, as the graph shows, had the highest incidence rates across all age groups.
Prostate Cancer Incidence
Prostate cancer is the cancer site with the highest incidence rate among males. The chart illustrates that the age group of 65-74 has the highest incidence rate among all age groups. Additionally, all age groups experienced a decrease in incidence rates from 1999 to 2019.
Breast Cancer Incidence
Similar to Prostate Cancer, the age group with the highest incidence rate is 65-74. The chart illustrates that the incidence rates for the age groups of 40-54 and 65-74 increased from 1999 to 2019, while all other age groups experienced a decrease during this time period. Notably, the age group of 85+ had the largest decrease in incidence rates during this time period.
Lung and Bronchus Cancer Incidence
The chart shows that all age groups experienced a decrease in incidence rates for lung and bronchus cancer sites during the specified time period. Among the age groups, 75-84 exhibited the highest incidence rate during this period.
Colon and Rectum Incidence
The chart demonstrates that all age groups, except for the 15-39 age group, experienced a decline in incidence rates from 1999 to 2019. Notably, the 15-39 age group saw an increase in incidence rate from 3.4 to 5.1 during this time period.
