Age - Mortality Rate

As age is a significant risk factor in cancer incidence, it also plays a crucial role in cancer mortality rates. While the age group of 75-84 had the highest incidence rate, the age group of 85+ has the highest mortality rate, as seen in the chart. However, it's worth noting that overall, all age groups experienced a decrease in cancer mortality rates from 1999 to 2019.

An example interpretation of the data in this graph would be that in 2010, the mortality rate was 267 deaths per 100,000 people in the age group of 55-64 in the population that year.
